Printing on bathroom fittings, fixtures and faucets
Printing on chrome plated Bath fittings like taps, faucets, showers, health faucets etc.
Bathroom faucets and other allied products are generally made of chrome plated brass, metals and sometimes plated plastic. Since chrome is a very hard metal, it is not very easy to print on it. Adhesion of ink on chrome is very difficult.
Ruco inks Germany, developed an excellent solution for printing on these surfaces. Key requirements are

- High gloss
- Slow drying
Many faucet manufacturers require very high level of bonding to chrome. To achieve this an additional process is done. Lasers are used to create a matt effect on chrome on which printing is done to achieve desired adhesion.

Generally the inks used are
Red for Hot
Blue for cold
Black for logo.
