This standard was reproduced in 2003 and it is based on the ISO 8124-3: 1997, Safety of toys, Part 3: Migration of certain elements. The standard is prepared jointly by Australia & New Zealand Committee CS018, Safety of toys. The objective of the standard is to restrict certain toxic elements from toys and the requirements of toxicity labeling for certain materials used in toys.
